Some Sketchbook Rough Ideas for Absurd Narritive

I created this picture based loosely on an image from "Frogs' Holiday" by Margaret Gordon that I had when I was a child. The original featured frogs floating in li-los in a sink and frogs in a washing machine and sleeping on towels. I took this idea for the "I had lots of babies..." page I am doing.

Absurd Narrative

The aim of this project is to take the first line from one book and the last line from another book and create a whole new story in the middle.

I have taken "I was 11 years old when I realised what I wanted out of life: more."-Hungry the Stars and Everything by Emma Jane Unsworth and "I leave it entirely in your hands"-from The Watchmen by Alan Moore.
Here are a few sketches in preparation for the book I am making.

A few things I have drawn since September... Must update more often!

Here are a few sketches from a day out a Hessle Foreshore,

I love looking at the Humber Bridge from an almost countryside setting.

A few drawings from my everyday life. Including 'reading in bed' and 'man with dog' from a day at the beach on the 1st of October...it was hot! Do you remember???

Hope you liked that little snippet of sketchy goodness. And I PROMISE I will be a better blogger in future and pay it more attention and hug it with images and eventually post my music and voice acting fun up on here too.
